Eastbury Manor House holds education days for children of all ages. However, we specialise in days for Key Stage 2. The children may follow a worksheet around the House and grounds and will cover many topics related to the Tudor period and Eastbury Manor House.
Eastbury Manor House can accommodate up to 70 children. There are 2 price bands, for small and large groups. In addition we offer a reduced rate for schools in the borough. Please refer to the education charges section for all prices.

School art project
On arrival the children will have a room to leave their coats and bags where they will later have lunch. Our Gift Shop is available for your school party on request and sells a good range of products of high quality and good value, as well as 'pocket-money' toys and souvenirs.
Please specify on the booking form whether or not your school will require the shop to be open.
In preparation for your visit the children are expected to have prior knowledge of the Tudor Period.
Eastbury Manor House has produced a Teacher's Resource Pack which provides information on the history of Eastbury Manor and the Tudor period. We recommend the use of the Teacher's Resource Pack for the pre-visit lesson and the follow-up lesson as well as for the actual visit.

School artwork project
Eastbury offers a free 'twilight' session which is held after the school day at the start of each term. This session enables teachers to see the layout of the house, run through the logistics of their visit and ask questions.
Please indicate on your booking form how many teachers might be interested in attending this session. Dates will generally be announced late in the term before your visit.
