A 16th century Tudor house Grade I listed building, leased to the borough by the National Trust.
Eastbury Manor House in Barking is a superb example of an Elizabethan gentry house and features a newel post staircase and, in the painted room, frescoes depicting fishing scenes.
Rooms are clear of furniture, which makes filming easier.
The house is open to visitors and used as a venue for Civil Weddings and Conferences and therefore filming arrangements need to be made in advance with the film officer.
For further information on the house and its history visit the Eastbury Manor House web pages.
