There are 3 sports centres which are ideal filming venues in the borough.
The Goresbrook Leisure Centre features an 8-court sports hall, which can be converted into a 2,000-seat venue for major sporting and entertainment events.
The pool features flumes and water features.
The Abbey Sports Centre in Barking similarly has a multi-purpose sports hall and a swimming pool among other facilities.
The Dagenham Pool houses a large swimming pool, which, because of its sheer size, has already shown its versatility as a film set.
The pool provides a large expanse of water and extensive room for a backdrop around its edges and surrounding walls.
