Special conditions for filming

Barking and Dagenham is keen to develop and promote a film friendly environment and the borough has assigned a dedicated Film Officer to ensure that filming in the borough runs smoothly and efficiently. This enables both the community and film production companies to happily co-exist.

There are of course parking restrictions in most high street areas, however these can be adjusted by us if need be. Many locations are easily accessible, however as working facilities filming times and opening times need to work together.

Health and safety issues also need to be considered and the Film Officer will alert production companies to any regulations that may affect their request.
