What is the child and adolescent mental health service?

These services are available to all families with babies, children and teenagers, living or studying in Barking and Dagenham.

 

They are for young persons experiencing mental health difficulties, including behavioural and emotional problems. 1 in 5 children and adolescents may experience mental health difficulties at any one time.

The Listening Zone Adolescent Counselling Service|

A counselling and psychotherapy service for young people aged between 14 and 21.

 

Primary Mental Health Team|

A team of specialist workers who work with children, young people and their families where the child or young person may have emotional or mental health difficulties.

 

Child and Family Consultation Service|

Provides assessment and treatment services for families and children under 18 with a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
