We have a number of garages available for rent in the borough.
How much does it cost?
Council Garages in the borough can be rented by both Tenants and Homeowners. The weekly rental price is £10.15 for Tenants and £11.92 for Homeowners.
Who will maintain the garage?
We maintain garage structures.
How do I make a payment?
Payment can be made in person through Post Offices, or through the Cash Office at the Civic Centre and the Barking Learning Centre. Alternatively, you can pay by:

The following details are needed - the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham's bank details (Barclays Bank plc, South Street, Romford - bank sort code number 20 72 89, payable to the general accounts number 00 22 73 90). Please remember to quote your tenancy reference number. All standing orders are payable monthly in advance

How do I terminate my existing tenancy?
To terminate a garage tenancy, you must hand the garage keys into the office where the tenancy agreement was signed. You will then be given a receipt for the keys, and the tenancy will be terminated a week after the following Monday.
