Welcome to the Commissioning and Procurement Team we offer strategic advice to our colleagues in Children's Services - in the procurement, contract management, monitoring and review of contracts that provide services for children.
Often Commissioning decisions lead to a requirement to tender services.
This means that external organisations have the opportunity to compete and to demonstrate that they can provide specific services that deliver against our key priorities at the quality and price that the department requires. We work closely with voluntary organisations, private companies, the Health Service and other public and local authorities.
Please take a look at our Current Tenders. If you require any information on how to submit a tender, please see our 'How to' Guide.
We are very keen to hear your comments, so please take the time to complete our comments and feedback form.
Please note that a tender submitted does not automatically guarantee it will be put forward for selection.
Award of tenders are subject to rigorous evaluation and the Council are not obliged to make an award of tender.
