Welcome to the Procurement and Contracts Review Team. We are part of Adult Commissioning providing support and advice to colleagues in the procurement, contract management, monitoring and review of adult services for Social Care and Supporting People.

Often Commissioning decisions lead to a requirement to tender services.

This means that external organisations have the opportunity to compete and to demonstrate that they can provide specified services at the quality and price that the Department requires. We work closely with voluntary organisations, private companies, the Health Service and other public and local authorities.

Submitting tenders

Please note that a tender submitted does not automatically guarantee it will be put forward for selection. Award of tenders are subject to rigorous evaluation and the Council are not obliged to make an award of tender.
