The Community Alcohol Team is a service for adults misusing alcohol or for those affected by alcohol misuse who are resident in the areas of Barking and Dagenham and Havering. We offer the following services:
- Assessment and screening
- Care planning
- Harm minimisation
- Motivational and pre-contemplative support
- Advice and information
- Referral on to specialist providers
- Open access sessions
- Working with offending behaviour
- Core treatment programme
- Through care and aftercare
- Counselling
- Services for family and carers
The Community Alcohol Team is open for you to drop in (visit without an appointment), at 300 Ripple Road, Barking, IG11 7RP, at the following times:
- Wednesday: 10.30am - 11.30am
- Thursday: 10.30am - 11.30am

Our Thursday evening session consists of information sharing, advice and friendly conversation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The Community Alcohol Team is also open for drop in at St Andrews Parish Centre, St Andrews Road, Romford, RM7 9AT on:
