This service is for drug misusing offenders appearing at Barking Magistrates Court who access it via the custody area there.

Self-referral is common, however, solicitors, Probation and Criminal Justice teams can make referrals, as can any person or organisation associated with someone who is attending the magistrates courts.

Assessments will be carried out in the court building to ascertain the needs of each individual and referrals will be made on to the appropriate local service.
