The Placement Service in Barking and Dagenham locates and coordinates suitable placements for children who need to be looked after. This is achieved jointly between the Adoption and Fostering service.

A new scheme provided by the Placement Team in Barking and Dagenham will offer a home visit to all residents interested in becoming foster carers. This will be within 5 working days and will replace the foster carer evenings that were run in 2005. For more information please use the address shown.
