This 11-acre site was originally opened in 1907.
It is now full to new burials, but the area of land immediately to the north is undergoing development work to create a new 8 acre burial site for the borough.
Chadwell Heath Cemetery offers a mixture if full memorial and traditional graves and lawn graves.
There is also a dedicated children's section as well as a peaceful memorial garden for burying cremated remains.
There is an Art Deco-style chapel at the front of the cemetery which can seat up to 60 people.
It has hymn books for people who want to use them, and there are facilities for cassettes, CDs and mini CDs.
This cemetery is now full to new burials. However, there are still a few grave spaces for cremated remains available in the garden of rest.
You can reserve memorial benches and trees.
There are litter bins, public toilets and watering points.
