Barking and Dagenham

If you like working in the great outdoors then why not join The London Wildlife Trust Volunteer Group and help to manage green spaces in Barking and Dagenham.

The group meets at the Millennium Centre on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week and the first Sunday of each month at 10am prompt and staff will be on hand to explain what's going on and how you can get involved.

London Wildlife Trust staff organise a variety of activities including:

Board walk building
Footpath and step construction and maintenance
Post and rail fencing
Woodland management
Hedgerow aftercare

If you are uncertain about what to expect don't worry, rest assured you will be working with friendly and outgoing like-minded people who enjoy the outdoors and wildlife.

So if you feel like getting involved why not come along and give it a try. There is no commitment and who knows, you may even enjoy it!
