Business permits

We issue a limited number of business permits to businesses with premises located within controlled parking zones and where there are Business Bays available. Holders of these permits are allowed to parking in allocated spaces during the controlled hours.

To obtain a business permit, applicants are required to supply valid insurance documentation for their vehicle and a covering letter from a company secretary or proprietor confirming the applicant works for the establishment concerned.

The cost of the business permit is:

£350 each per annum (Barking Town Centre)
£118 each per annum (Dagenham East, Heathway, Chadwell Heath and Becontree controlled parking zone areas)

Permits may be purchased by post, by writing to Parking Services at the address shown or by visiting the Barking Learning Centre, One Stop Shop, 2 Town Square, Barking, IG11 7NB.

Opening hours:

9am - 7pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

9am - 5pm, Wednesday and Saturday
