Our Community Priorities

Barking and Dagenham

 

We have adopted the following Community Priorities as part of its commitment to serving the community better.

 

The Community Priorities document sets out how we are planning to improve the borough for everyone who lives, works or visits here.

 

The Priorities are based on the results of a survey of local residents that highlighted the main concerns of people living in the borough.

 

Since then local residents, businesses, groups and organisations have all been consulted on these Priorities and their views have been taken into account in developing this final version.

 

The Community Priorities are important to us. We have already started to use the Priorities to shape the way that we deliver council services.

 

We will work with local residents and our partners in the community to put these Priorities into practice.
