Information Communication and Technology (ICT) is the key tool to transform the way in which we work and provide services to local people. ICT enables people freedom of access to services and information and delivers choice for all.
The vision for ICT and e-Government is to create an environment for everyone to use ICT to improve their lives, their community and the environment. We are responsible for providing strategic ICT services to the Council along with day to day operational services to our customers.
The ICT and e-Gov Balance Score Card will use the ICT Strategy (2007-2010) to deliver this vision. This vision has 4 main themes:
