Scrutiny
A key role for non-Executive Members is 'Scrutiny'. This includes:
- 'Call-in' - a process allowing Executive decisions to be questioned and, if necessary, changed, before they are implemented
- Scrutiny Panels - these examine specific areas of our work, recommend improvements where necessary as well as recognising positive aspects
