Change of address

Moving out|

If you are moving out from a property within the council area you should let us know so that we can make the necessary adjustments to your bill.

Please use our Online change of address form.

We will need some or all of the following information depending upon the circumstances:

Your name and present address
The date you are moving
Your new address
A daytime telephone number and/or email address
If the property was owned or rented
Date of sale
Name(s) of new resident(s)
Whether the property is furnished
Tenancy dates
Name and address of landlord or agent
Names of any tenants remaining after you have moved out

Find out what band your new property is in in England

Once you have found out the band of your new property, all you need to do is to go into that Local Authorities website and go to their council tax section to find out the Charge for that Band.

If you are moving in to a property within the borough you should let us know as soon as possible so that we can send you a bill and spread the payments for as long as possible.
