Barking and Dagenham

We cover the maintenance and collection of rent from over 20,000 council tenants and also deal with housing and council tax benefits for all those eligible.

We work very closely with Housing Services to provide a joint up and customer friendly service.

We are responsible for the administration as well as the billing and collection of the majority of our income. Split into 3 major business units, each one has a focus in a specialist area.

Income and Collection

Income and Collection collects money from council tax and business rates as well as any other money owed to us and covers our cashier services.

Rents and benefits

We collect and maintain rents collection and administrate housing and council tax benefits.

Support Services

Support Services offer a front line interface with customers, looking at performance and service development as well as administrative and business support to the division.
