What your business can do

Businesses have a vital role to play during an emergency and are a driving force in the subsequent recovery. To help our business sector prepare for potential disruptions, the Council is keen to promote the principles of Business Continuity Management.

Civil Contingencies Joint Service

Barking and Dagenham Council plays a key role during emergencies by supporting the work of the emergency services, providing assistance to those affected and maintaining council services. The Civil Contingencies Joint Service is responsible for ensuring the Council fulfils its obligations in this regard.
