To claim housing benefit, council tax support or both, a claim needs to be submitted to the council. There is only one form that needs to be completed and if you qualify for education benefits (free school meals) we will also automatically award this as well.
The new way to claim benefits with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is On Line.
