Wheelie Bins

How to present your waste and what to expect from us

Please leave your bins at the boundary of your property by 6.30am on the morning of your collection.
    • Your rubbish should be placed inside your wheelie bin.
    • You can now place all your recycling materials in your brown recycling bin.  For information regarding recyclable materials please follow the link here.  Do not place materials that cannot be recycled in your bin.  (If you do your bin will not be collected)
    • You should only put your rubbish out on the street if you do not have a front garden or drive.
    • If you have to put your rubbish out on the street, please place it there by 6.30am on the morning of your collection - no later.
    • If you live in a flat, please leave your waste and recycling in your communal collection area on the morning of your collection.

    • We will collect your bins from the boundary of your property and return them once the contents have been emptied.
    • We will collect your bins on your collection day from 6.30am and will notify you in advance of any changes to your collection day.
    • We will make sure that no rubbish remains in the bins after emptying and we will leave the streets clear and clean after collection.

  • As part of your weekly collection, we will not collect the following:
    • Extra rubbish bags that do not fit in your grey wheelie bin
    • Large items such as fridges and furniture
