Reuse and recycling centre
As of 9 May 2011 all users of the sites will be required to provide proof to site staff that they live in one of the ELWA boroughs - a current Council Tax bill or driving licence - in order to dispose of their waste free of charge. If one of these forms of ID are not presented a charge (cash only) may be made to access the site.

Frizlands Lane RRC is not actually in Frizlands Lane, it is in Rainham Road North. The entrance is on the left of Rainham Road North and is close to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Civic Centre.

There are three categories of waste that can be taken to the RRC:
Please note that any waste from
building, renovation or DIY work is not classed as household waste. You will need to get permission from Barking and Dagenham Council before taking it to the RRC. To do this, please contact Barking and Dagenham Direct on 020 8215 3000.
Trade waste includes anything not from a household,
whether or not for profit. Whilst it is free to dispose of household waste, any waste that is not from your house or has been produced through the activities of a business will be subject to charges.

Staying safe on site:
- If you need help, please ask our staff.
- Wear strong shoes and suitable clothing.
- Remember the speed limit on site is strictly 5 miles per hour.
- Be careful when walking around site, particularly when carrying things.
- Please ensure children and pets stay in the car when you are loading.
- Please wrap up sharp items very carefully and wear gloves when carrying them.
- Please use the steps provided and do not throw things into the containers from lower levels.
