Repairs and Maintenance 

External Repairs 

We want you to enjoy your home, so this page lets you know what we are responsible for providing.

If any of the services listed here have not been provided, or you are unhappy with the standard of works done, please contact us at the address shown.

Fencing

We will only carry out repairs to fencing that is to the perimeter/boundary at the rear of the property.

Footpaths (from the street to your door)

We will repair holes or uneven surfaces to footpaths.

Washing line paths are not included but will be repaired on occupation if the new tenant is registered disabled and has mobility problems. This will need to be approved by the Area Housing Office.

Window

Initially broken windows will be boarded up for health and safety, followed by the window being measured and glazed as quickly as possible.

Guttering and rainwater pipes

Will be repaired if loose or leaking only and blockages will also be cleared if they are affecting the property's condition.

Roof

We are responsible for all repairs to the roof.

External Walls

External pointing/rendering will only be repaired if there is evidence of dampness as a result of failed existing finishes.

Temporary repairs

Will be carried out in an emergency and until a permanent repair can be completed.
