A Job Shop is a support service for residents of the borough with all aspects of finding work.

Do I need to pay to use the Job Shop?

Can the Job Shop help me?
The Job Shop can help you if:

Will I receive one to one support?
Yes, when you register with us, you will be assigned a Job Broker that will support you through your job searching process.

Unfortunately, we can't help you.  Please check the website of your local authority, they may offer similar services.

I am not working but not claiming any benefits either, can the Job Shops help me?
Yes, it does not matter that you are not claiming any benefits.  We particularly want to support people returning to work after a gap, whether that was because of childcare or another reason.

Why do I need to register?
Because we provide one-to-one job search advice, job seekers need to complete a registration process and provide evidence of their eligibility to work.
