Charges for computer access 2013 - 2014
From Tuesday 2 April 2013 the following charges will apply for our public computer service.
The service remains free for people under 20 and over 60
Computer Charges
There are three rates available for residents of Barking and Dagenham and one rate for non residents. The charges apply to full members of the London Libraries Consortium
Barking and Dagenham residents
- £6 a year 1 hour computer use a day
- £12 a year 2 hours computer use a day
- £25 a year 3 hours computer use a day
Non-residents
- £25 a year 2 hours computer use a day
Library members who are non residents of Barking and Dagenham
If PCs are available, extra time can be bought by all members at £1 per hour
Guest users
If you are not a library member and over 16 you can still use the computers at the following rates.
- £1 for 30 minutes
- £2 for one hour

Office packages such as Word and Excel are also available from public computers and all libraries offer A4 black and white and colour printing. Some libraries have scanning facilities available on some PC's, please contact your Local library for details.
