Capel Manor College at Castle Green
Capel Manor College is London's only specialist college for land based subjects and has centres across Greater London (at Castle Green, Enfield, Gunnersbury Park, Regent's Park and Crystal Palace).
Our East London centre moved from Upminster Court to Castle Green in 2006 and has been offering full-time, part-time and evening courses in floristry, balloon display and horticulture ever since.
We are recognised as a Centre of Vocational Excellence for Horticulture and Floristry and are a Beacon College; we were awarded 2 Grade 1s (for garden design and for floristry) in our last Ofsted/ALI inspection (October 2003).
Thanks to our location within the Castle Green Centre students benefit from extensive facilities including a library, IT suite, café, sports centre and children's centre. Our practical horticultural courses are held at nearby Harmony House in Baden Powell Close, Goresbrook Road, Dagenham, RM9 6XN.
Our courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications enabling students to progress to employment or higher education and range from beginners level through to higher education awards such as Advanced National Certificates.
