There are 47 places in our nursery for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We provide a full-day childcare service aimed at working parents or parents on training courses. Enquire about current fees.
Do you need some time for yourself? Shopping or an appointment or interview. We have a crèche run by qualified staff currently available on a Tuesday and Thursday. Bookings must be paid for in advance.
A group that encourages children, with their parents/carers to learn, make friends and communicate through play. For parents/carers with children 0-5 years.
A music and movement group for children and their parents/carers to sing, play, make friends and learn language together. For parents/carers with children aged 0-5 years.
A 4 week workshop for parents/carers, looking at fun activities, that can be done at home. The workshop will advise you on how various activities can support interaction and communication during play and every day activities. Crèche available.
A group that encourages children, with their parents/carers to learn, make friends and communicate through play. Some targeted activities are provided that promote speech and language development. For parents/carers with children aged 0-5 years.
A group to help build positive foundations between you and your child using behaviour strategies. For parents/carers with children aged 0-5 years.
A group that encourages parents/carers to play, explore and communicate with their babies. Support and advice is given by a Play and Communication worker, about different ways to communicate with your baby. For parents/carers with their babies aged 0-12 months
Swimming session for you and your children. Staff at the centre will be on hand to help with all the messy bits to ensure you have the most fun! For parents/carers with children 0-5 years, please telephone to confirm attendance.
Come and relax and learn the importance of physical contact with your baby. For parents/carers with children aged 0-12 months.

This is a 4 week parenthood preparation course for mums and dads-to-be. This course informs you about preparing to go to hospital, delivery, what to expect in hospital, taking your baby home etc.
Come along to our group and meet other new and expectant parents. Have a chat and some refreshments whilst exchanging and receiving information.
An informal drop in for teenage mums. A place to exchange information and ideas, catch up with others, meet other teenage mums.

Support is offered for new mums and mums-to-be who are considering or having problems with breast feeding. Please contact the centre for information.
Are you having sleepless nights with your child? Are you waking to find your child sharing your bed? Would you like your child to sleep in their own room throughout the night? If so call in to the session for one to one individual support. These sessions will be designed specifically for you and your child's needs.

We can offer information about other services, provide support and advice to help you through a particular problem on a one to one basis or in groups at the Children Centre. Whatever your need or personal circumstance, we are hear to help. You can make an appointment or just call in for a chat.
Want to be self-employed and run your own business? Need advice on getting back to work, CV preparation, Interview techniques, filling out application forms, 1 to 1 job searching, child tax credits, childcare costs and benefits then this is the session for you.
Can accommodate up to 25 people. Late afternoons and weekends. Please contact the centre for further information.
