We strongly believe this can only happen in a well-ordered and respectful environment where teachers and students are fully committed to helping us achieve our goals.
We aim to provide the best opportunities we can for everyone in the community, and our new location with its excellent facilities will help us to do so.
Services
We aim to do the following:
- Set high and minimum standards for all students to reach
- Have high expectations of all students relating to exam results and behaviour
- Provide a safe and supportive environment where students from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of abilities feel valued and included
- Work with the local community, including industry and business
- Encourage our students to want to be involved in lifelong learning
- Encourage our students to consider social, moral and spiritual issues that arise from living in a society with people with different backgrounds and cultures
- Provide a broad and balanced curriculum (range of subjects) that meets the needs of the local community
- Provide a wide range of activities for our students outside school hours
- View ourselves as an important part of the wider community of schools and other education providers in the borough who work closely for the benefit of the whole community
