Welcome to the Housing web page.
Here you can find out everything about one of our main areas of responsibility.
We manage and maintain around 20,000 Council properties, one of the largest social housing stocks left in London. We have kept our properties because our tenants voted overwhelmingly to keep the council as its landlord.
You can find out more on these pages about what it's like to be a council tenant, how to register and bid for a new property, how to get repairs carried out and how to pay your rent. You can also find out how we allocate our properties, how we give housing priority to local people, and what to do if you are homeless.
There is information as well about our future plans for council housing. Find out about why and how we are investing £60 million over the next 2 years in our housing stock, and working hard to get the funding to build more of the good quality, affordable homes that local people want and need.
Topics arranged in the Local Government Housing Category.
