From special interest clubs to days out for the family to enjoy, you will find a whole range of services available. You will also be able to find out about your local library and arts services.
The borough has 11 libraries, all offering a great range of services, most of which are free. These include borrowing books, computer and internet access, a home library service and the loan of DVDs and CDs for a small fee.
You will find lots of information on the arts including contact details for local dance, drama, visual arts, music and other clubs and societies, links to the galleries, our Arts Forum, community and public arts project such as the A13 Artscape - one of the largest and most ambitious public arts project in the United Kingdom, Barking Town Centre Artscape, the Molten Festival, Sonic Spin, and Barking and Dagenham Young Person's Film Festival can also all be found on this page.
