We are leading in efforts to be a more customer focused service provider.
With an ongoing programme of integrating services we now include revenues and benefits, registrar services, are developing and managing the one stop shop programme and access administration initiatives across the council.
The Call Centre and Customer First is a very central council function taking an average of 10,000 calls per week. Still growing, it continues to integrate more services, monitoring reception areas and customer contact points to make sure we provide an excellent standard of service across the borough.
We have developed a One Stop Shop programme, which means you can visit any reception area and access a whole range of council services, making us far more streamlined and customer focused.
We are supporting the entire council to be more customer focused and accessible. Taking this lead we will make our 'Done in One' campaign a reality for you.
Another project to come from the Customer First Programme is the 'Tell Us' campaign which gives you the opportunity to give us your comments and suggestions on the services we provide.
