We provide crucial services to over 20,000 residents in the borough including Homelessness and Housing Advice, Housing Services, Community Housing Partnerships, Stock Investments and the Enterprise Contract.
Housing Services carries out tenancy policy and consultation exercises, as well as managing leasehold stock and other housing management services. We encourage tenant participation through Tenants and Residents Associations and Community Housing Partnerships and provide business support to our 2 Local Housing Offices.
In addition to all this, Housing Services also includes Homelessness and Housing Advice which means we are responsible for allocating stock and managing our statutory responsibility to the homeless, ensuring housing is supportive and links in with other support services for children and adults in need.
Housing Services manage the contract we have with Enterprise who are responsible for carrying out repairs to our homes.
The Stock Investment Programme aims to deliver on the decent homes standard through major repairs work and improvements. It specifies the capital programme of major repairs and then commissions and manages the work to deliver the Decent Homes standard.
