This group is responsible for progress chasing, improvements in the management of our staff, services and operations, as well as supporting the Chief Executive to set the strategic direction for the authority with elected councillors and partners.
This includes the regeneration of Barking and Dagenham's physical environment, strengthening its economy and creating greater opportunity for families and individuals.
The Adult and Community Services Department promotes the independence and well-being of adults and older people, joining social care with health initiatives across the area.
The Children's Services Department promotes the well-being of children.
Customer Services brings all of our main front-line teams together which means we now deliver a range of key services for you and with you in mind.
Finance and Commercial Services|
Finance and Commercial Services division has corporate responsibility for developing and maintaining our Financial Management, Audit and Risk Management and Procurement arrangements in a lawful manner.
The Resources Department leads and supports the council in the development of efficient and effective services for our local community.
