East London Domestic Violence Homelessness Prevention Strategy 2010-13 (12 May 2010)

Action Plan: A multi agency collaboration to reduce and prevent homelessness as a result of domestic violence.

Setting deadlines and agreeing priorities has been delegated to the Domestic Violence Homelessness Prevention Group.

Strategic Action

1. Improve partnership working to prevent and reduce domestic violence
2. Enhanced Housing Options
3. Avoid repossession in cases of rent or mortgage arrears or debt
4. Understand and respond to the needs of hard to reach groups
5. Signpost Survivors to advice on use of Domestic Violence Housing Law options
6. Reduce youth homelessness as result of domestic violence
