Forums

Youth Forum|

The Barking and Dagenham Youth Forum is an opportunity for young people to have their say on local issues, make changes in their community and take responsibility for decisions that affect their lives.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Forum|

The Forum consists of a wide cross-section of individuals from the community and organisations that have come together to engage with the council and the Barking and Dagenham Partnership.

Community Housing Partnerships|

Council tenants now have a bigger say on the way that their homes are managed.

Voting in elections|

The electoral register is the list of everyone who is entitled to vote. It is updated every year using details from the registration form you receive each Autumn from your local council.

Consultations|

We often needs to consult residents on their views of our services being provided and their views of the local area.

Contact your councillors|

Councillors run the council on behalf of the community. They make all the major decisions about Council policy, services and finances. They are advised by officers, who implement their decisions and operate the council on a day-to-day basis. We have made it easy for you to find out who your councillors are, and how to contact them.

Agendas and Minutes of Meetings|

Browse the archive of agendas and decisions made at council meetings. You can search the archive using key words, or look at the proceedings of particular committees such as the Executive or the Assembly.

Service Standards|

These are our service standards. They tell you what you can expect from our services. They also help us to meet the 7 Community Priorities.

Citizens' Panel|

The Barking and Dagenham Citizens' Panel is made up of a representative sample of 1,000 local residents from across the borough who, from time to time, are asked to take part in questionnaires and discussion groups about local issues.
