The electoral register is the list of everyone who is entitled to vote. It is updated every year using details from the registration form you receive each Autumn from your local council.
We often needs to consult residents on their views of our services being provided and their views of the local area.
Councillors run the council on behalf of the community. They make all the major decisions about Council policy, services and finances. The Barking and Dagenham Citizens' Panel is made up of a representative sample of 1,000 local residents from across the borough who, from time to time, are asked to take part in questionnaires and discussion groups about local issues.
