Barking and Dagenham Council's website goes from strength to strength after being commended by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) for Accessibility, one of only five local websites in the country to receive an award.

Major investment set to boost highways improvement drive|
Barking and Dagenham's roads are set to receive a major facelift as part of a £20m council improvement scheme.
Did you know Barking and Dagenham are taking part in a pilot for single non emergency numbers by dialling 101? (Calls to the service cost 10p from landlines and mobiles).
101 is a 24-hour number provided by your police and local council to deal with community safety issues, including certain non-emergency crime, policing and anti-social behaviour.
