Only residents and business who have applied for a permit will be able to park within the zone during set times. People who don’t live in the CPZ area won’t be able to apply for a permit. If you have a visitor, they will need to purchase a visitor’s permit.

When will you start to install the CPZs in each area?

Subject to the weather, we will start work on Monday 4 May 2021.

When will the CPZs go live and become enforceable?

Area S2 will go live at 8.30am on Tuesday 1 June 2021. As of this date, all vehicles parked within this zone will need to have purchased a permit during the operating times unless they have a blue badge.

Any vehicle that has not purchased a permit may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

How do I apply for my resident and visitor permits?

Resident and visitor permits will be available to purchase from Monday 10 May 2021 (three weeks before the go live date).

From Monday 10 May 2021, you can apply for your permits:
