Every year, Barking and Dagenham Council carries out a Residents Survey to find out what residents think about the Council, services and the local area.

The Barking and Dagenham Residents Survey 2023 is now open!
The results of the survey will be shared with all services in the Council to help make improvements and direct resources to the issues that matter the most to our residents. The information we gain will also identify where further consultation and engagement may be needed.
Who can respond to the survey?
We have sent letter invitations to 6,000 addresses across Barking and Dagenham. The addresses have been chosen at random so please look out for the invitation in your mail.
If you receive a letter, please let us know when completing the survey.
Even if you haven’t received a letter, if you are a resident of Barking and Dagenham, you can still have your say and complete the survey:
