How to vote

A couple of weeks before each election, all eligible electors who have opted to vote in person will receive a poll (voting) card.

The card will tell you the date and hours of poll and the location of your polling station.

When you go to the polling station you will be asked for your name and address (you are encouraged to take your card with you).

You will then be given a ballot paper and instructions on how to cast your vote.

You mark your vote on the ballot paper and put it in a sealed ballot box.

Nobody knows who you have voted for.

There is lots of information in the polling station and our staff are always happy to give you any help you need.
