We love Eastbury
A hands-on open day in partnership with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB).
Join us to celebrate the centenary of Eastbury being saved from demolition by the SPAB and acquired for the Nation by the National Trust in 1918.
Eastbury Manor House will be joined by expert craft makers who will explore our architecture in a variety of activities. Try your hand at traditional crafts, see hands-on building conservation up close and enjoy art and craft workshops and demonstrations for all ages.
You’ll be able to meet architect and SPAB member William Weir who will be visiting Eastbury once more 100 years after he helped save the building from demolition. You can also take this opportunity to learn more about Eastbury’s history on a guided tour and try the Eastbury Kitchen’s hot and cold lunches, cakes, scones and more.
