Get a coronavirus test

Whether you have coronavirus symptoms or not, there are lots of ways you can get tested in Barking and Dagenham.

Everyone in England should now take a rapid COVID-19 test, known as a lateral flow test for people without symptoms, twice a week to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

One in three people with COVID-19 don’t have any symptoms, so you should take a rapid test twice a week to help stop the spread and get us back to normal quickly.

If you have no symptoms you can collect a pack of seven tests from the test sites below. You can also have your quick test done in person at the sites below with the results available within an hour. If you have a smartphone please bring this as it will make registration quicker.

The Becontree Leisure Centre and Gascoigne Children Centre test sites have now permanently closed.

Please keep checking back for more information about testing centres as the situation is changing quickly.

If you’ve had your COVID vaccine, you should still be having a test twice a week.
