Provisional statement

If you do not yet have the right to occupy the premises for which you want a licence, or if the premises are to be constructed or refurbished to accommodate gambling activities, you may apply for a Provisional Statement. This is effectively a provisional licence, allowing you to assess the prospect of being granted a full licence before committing to the costs of acquiring the right to occupy, construct or refurbish the premises.

You will be required to give notice of your application to relevant Responsible Authorities (statutory bodies able to comment on a licence application and/or apply for the review of a licence in certain circumstances).
