Posters for events during COVID-19 pandemic
We know, like us, residents are disappointed that celebrating special occasions and events in more traditional ways has just not been possible due to coronavirus.
While we weren’t able to bring our Summer of Festivals events to you in the usual way, we adapted the programme to create our first online festival in the shape of One Borough One Love.
Religious festivals have also felt very different already this year. Our Muslim residents had to adapt the way they celebrated both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha this year, by celebrating safely at home with loved ones and seeing other relatives virtually rather than in person.
The rest of the year will bring us more events, celebrations and religious holidays, for example Halloween, Bonfire Night, Diwali, Hannukah and Christmas - all of which are important events that we know residents will want to celebrate safely.

As we continue to follow the government’s guidelines, we want to help residents mark these special occasions safely, so we have created a series of posters, which you can choose to print and display in your window to show your support for each event, from the safety of your home.
Whether you want to discourage trick or treaters from knocking on your door this Halloween or, you want to wish your neighbours well this Bonfire Night, there is a poster for each event.
We’ll be adding posters for more events and celebrations to this page as we approach them and as government guidelines may change. If you have a suggestion for an event or celebration that needs covering let us know!
