Notice of application for premises to be approved as a venue for civil marriages
I, Cheryl Davis, on behalf of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Department of Registration Services being the manager of the service apply to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham for approval for
Eastbury Manor House, Eastbury Square, Barking, IG11 9SN
to be licensed under the Marriage and Civil Partnership Act as premises where civil marriages and civil partnerships may take place.
The Marriage (Approved Premises) Regulations 1995 state that premises can be approved by the council if, in their opinion and amongst other things they:
- are seemly, dignified and regularly available for civil marriages
- have adequate fire precautions, other appropriate safety precautions
- have no recent, or continuing connection with any religion which is incompatible with the use of the premises as a venue for civil marriages.

Any person wishing to see the application I have made and plans for the premises may do so at the above address between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
Objections must be made in writing to Natalia Monvoisin, Head of Customer Contact, Barking Town Hall, 1 Town Square, Barking IG11 7LU, and must be received within twenty-one days of the date of this publication (10 April 2019).
