Paying your invoice

Most invoices are payable immediately.  If you are not able to pay immediately, we might agree to accept payment by instalments. To discuss instalment repayment, please contact the General Income team.

The General Income team can assist with invoice repayment queries. Any other queries relating to the invoice will need to be directed to the Traded Services Team.

Pay online

You can pay online using a credit or debit card.

You will need to enter your invoice number, which can be found on the invoice we sent to you.

There’s a 1% handling surcharge if you pay by credit card.

You can pay by telephone using a credit of debit card.

You will need to enter your invoice number, which can be found on the invoice we sent to you.

Pay at a bank

You can pay at any bank using the payment slip at the bottom of your invoice.  Some banks make a charge for this service.

Please allow five working days for your payment to reach us.

Payzone and Paypoint

You can make payments at outlets which display the Payzone and Paypoint logos.

If you would like to pay this way, please contact us to request a payment card.

You can find your local outlet on the Payzone and Paypoint websites.

Standing orders and bank transfers

Payments can be made by bank transfer and standing order.

You will need to contact your bank and quote your invoice number, with the Council’s bank details.
