Request access or a permission letter to a Refuse/Recycle Centre

Complete our form to provide us with more details about your use of the facility

All the recycling centres use automatic number plate recognition to identify and challenge vehicles suspected of carrying and illegally tipping trade waste.

Once your vehicle passes a certain number of visits, you will receive a letter telling you to contact us. We will then discuss why you are bringing so much waste into the centre.

We’ll either allow you to continue or, if we believe you are tipping fraudulently, we can deny you access to the site.

If you’re requesting a permission letter to dispose of restricted household waste

Restricted household waste are items or materials that have been generated from building, renovation, or DIY work such as bathtubs, toilets, washbasins, pond materials, windows and doors, structural wood, roofing materials, rubble, soil, and asbestos.

You can only bring limited amounts of restricted household waste to Frizlands Lane Reuse and Recycling Centre, having sought and received authorisation from the council.

Charges will apply for all commercial waste.

If you’ve received a letter from Frizlands RRC

If you have been given a letter, please provide us with more details about your use of the facility. We will aim to contact you within two working days to discuss the matter further.
