Thank You Roadshow

Thank You FestivalSaturday 3 and Sunday 4 July - 10.30am to 4.30pm

Monday 5 July - 10am to 8.30pm

Event will take place subject to COVID-19 and following the current government guidelines.

Due to the delay in the government roadmap we have had to make some changes to the Roadshow to ensure to follow the COVID-19 guidelines and ensure our residents have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Everyone is being urged to take part in the biggest ‘thank you’ the country has ever seen on the 73rd birthday of the NHS. During the last year, we have all been through one of the greatest test in our lifetime, dealing with the many challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. So we’re coming together across the borough to thank the amazing NHS, our fantastic keyworkers and our borough residents for showing resilience throughout this and beyond.

The roadshow will travel through the borough with feel good family entertainment with stops on the way taking in residential areas, community venues and parks.

Monday Thank You Roadshow Toggle accordion

The Roadshow will be visiting every ward in the borough for the NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers Day with feel good music from Tom Fowler and Stevie-Jay Johnson and big thanks along the way. Give us a wave and tag us in your photos using #thankyouroadshow.

As a borough, we will be marking the day by raising the flag at 10am from Barking Town Square, followed by a two minute silence at 11am and for the nation's toast at 1pm. We then encourage you to join us, from your doorstep, to clap our heroes at 8pm.
