The LBBD Barking Riverside Innovation in Construction (B R I C) training centre is the borough's first onsite construction training centre, offering construction qualifications and training, plus brand new test centre facilities.
The B R I C training centre is located at Barking Riverside, and offers construction qualifications and training, as well as test centre facilities where you can book your CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test.
For those of you looking to get started in the construction industry, either in the public or private sector, one of the requirements for most construction companies is that you must have a valid CSCS card.
Our B R I C centre will enable you to gain a Level 1 Health and Safety in construction qualification, and sit the CITB Health, safety and environment test.
The CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) test is an important way for construction workers to show they can work safely. For employers, having workers who have passed the CITB HS&E test is assurance that their workforce can keep themselves and those around them safe.
At B R I C you can also apply for a CSCS card relevant to your specific trade. To apply for the card, you will need to have a nationally recognised construction qualification and a CITB HS&E test report.
