LGBT+ History Month

LGBT+ History Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, queer, intersex and asexual history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements.

LGBT+ Progress flag with text next to it that says 'LGBT+ History Month 2024'

LGBT+ History Month is a time to celebrate our LGBT+ community, but also to raise awareness of the ongoing issues facing the community and to tackle discrimination and prejudice against LGBT+ people.

The theme of the month is LGBT+ peoples’ contribution to medicine. #UnderTheScope. Showcasing the work of LGBT+ staff in healthcare and the shining a light on the LGBT+ community’s experience of receiving healthcare.
